The Divine Feminine and The Wild Woman
Somewhere within us calls out. It knows we’re not meant to be sanitized, repressed, numb. It shouts from within, demanding to be felt and expressed. To be seen and loved.
It wants to run wild through the trees and climb mountains and feel the breeze against our skin. To once again be connected with the soul and the land. It’s wild, untamed and it’s not at all ‘nice’.
It’s unpredictable, it won’t squeeze itself into our carefully laid out ideas or our ‘five year plan’. And thank God. It doesn’t run with the mind, it beats with the heart.
Its pesky desires run through us like wild fire. For too long the Divine Feminine within us all has been shamed, tamed and bound. Now it’s re-igniting. Its flame is flickering. It calls on us to show up as ourselves. Not tidy, not perfect, not mild or tepid or easily swallowed - but as us.
We’re shards of the universe walking the planes of this earth. We’re warriors and healers. We’re story tellers, mothers and daughters. The feminine is so powerful, it was feared. It was burnt, silenced and destroyed and still it lived on. The wisdom’s passed down from generation to generation, through the soul or genetic remembering.
This journey is a re-membering. Remembering who you are, what you’re made of. Remembering what makes you laugh, what makes you smile. Remembering what sets your heart on fire.
